Art came as such a natural process; that as a child I had always taken it for granted. It took many years to realize that the gift of art was not to be taken lightly but to be used in such a way that myself, as well as the viewer, may be transformed. Creating art has always stopped time for me. The need to express a vision in a tangible form lead me to experiment with many types of mediums such as metal, glass, wood, paint; to name a few. To learn more of how to mold these materials led me to work in many trades like machinist, homebuilder, and custom painter. It is important to the continuity of a piece that the materials in hand come together in a natural flow.  To master my own originality I have been living in the Sierra Mountain environment for the past 21 years. It has given me extensive vistas of colors that have played across big skies, open ranges and powerful mountains. I believe that studying art is a life long class; always observing the big picture as well as the fine details. Traditional art classes, fellow artist and anyone I encounter, I look to, for they have something to teach me.       The love of travel has always brought clarity for new creations. My mystical inspiration comes from an ancient wisdom that we all have. By tapping into many different levels of divine energy has led me to my most intriguing work today. If there is an emotion brought forth or you recognize something in one of my pieces, then it is real and I am honored to be the messenger.
